Its with great pleasure that the stars can formally announce the 1st 1 Day tournament of the year, which is to be held on Sunday 21st October in Dungannon Leisure Centre.
The teams confirmed to take part are Ballymoney Badgers, Erne Eagles & the Armagh Stars. The three clubs have come together and have made plans to hold 6 1 day tournaments throughout this season, which will help all the clubs developing players get game experienced, before their entry into the main NIIHA league in Sept 2008.

Each team will have the option of holding 2 rounds at their home venues, with the Stars hosting the 1st round. Having previously played friendly games in Armagh & Newry leisure Centre, the stars are brining inline hockey to Dungannon for the very first time. The hosting of "home" games in towns outside armagh, has been part of the stars marketing strategy to introduce inline hockey to as many people as possible throughout the mid Ulster area,

Previous games held in armagh & newry have attracted new players to the club, most of who had never heard of Inline hockey before. The stars hope hosting the games in dungannon will once again attract more people to join the club.

The games will be played between 2:30 & 5:30 on sunday the 21st with excellent viewing gallery space for people wishing to watch.

Its is planned that the Junior stars team will also have a friendly game on the day, with their opposiont not yet confirmed. More details will be released shortly.
